Abilities Unleashed provides Individuals referred by CLBC to the L.I.F.E. program with a one-to-one Life and Career Coach. We help you to plan your own service and how you would like to receive your support to meet your Learning, Inclusion, Friendship, and Employment goals. Your Life and Career Coach will guide you through a planning process that is centered around you. This plan creates a full picture of your interests, abilities, desires, strengths, and goals. During meetings with your Life and Career Coach, you will work towards your career goals one step at a time in the comfort of your home or out in the community, at times that fit both your and your Coach’s schedule.

Your Life and Career Coach will also spend time researching, planning, creating tools and resources, and building community connections outside of their meetings with you, to help you get set up for long-term success. Services are designed with the purpose of supporting a future, a career, and a life beyond paid services. This means that your Life and Career Coach will work with you to develop a natural support network at your workplace, so you don’t need to rely on a Coach long-term. That said, your Coach will always be there for you if you ever need more support. The program doesn’t go away once you get a job, your Coach will just naturally fade support to as much or as little as you need long-term.
